Positive Handprints for Bees

Currrently there is a lot of  discussion about policy and political solutions to climate change and environmental destruction – mostly talking about the issues and agreeing on very little, I have few hopes for COP15 this December.

The way forward is for the people, like us, to begin the work to restore the Earth – brick by brick, year by year.  We are not saying here that geological structures will be re-designed!  No, its about restoring the life carrying capacity the planet gives us through it’s ecosystem services – clean air, fertile soils, water, pollination, gas regulation etc.

Here is a perfect example of a Positive Handprint – Bee Hives!  Clive and Philly Hedger are an inspiration – they are taking the plight of the honey bee into their own hands.  Here are some pictures sent from them to share to inspire more action.  We need millions of Handprints like this – the work with nature needs to be democratized and given empowerment to act, see the results here – Positive Handprints for the Honey Bees.
